She is also certified in suicide prevention and actively works to foster a healthy, supportive work environment for her team.Additionally, Summer became CPEP-certified (Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Professional) in 2025. She believes that a compassionate and peaceful passing is one of the greatest gifts we can offer to both pets and their families.
Her clinical certifications also include:
- Fear-Free Certified (since 2019), helping reduce fear and anxiety in patients
- Certified in Abdominal Ultrasound and Echocardiograms (2023)
Summers true passion lies in animal dentistry. She loves educating clients about oral health and sharing new techniques with both clients and her team.
Outside of the clinic, Summer enjoys life on her small farm with her many beloved pets, including dogs, cats, horses, and a quirky flock of chickens. She’s a proud supporter of FFA and 4H, and she treasures her time spent with family. Although you may not see her on the treatment floor as often, Summer is always available for a warm hello and happy to connect with clients and patients alike.
